The Need for Halal Certification

The Muslim community has expressed deep concern about the authenticity of Halal products they consume due to excessive artificiality and dubious classification in the Halal food industry. 

To fulfill this need, a standardized verification by an independent certification body becomes necessary.

As a result, the Halal Institute of Portugal intends to serve the Muslim community in this purpose, as well as support all industries who seek to cover new markets worldwide.
